When you create an account, we collect your email address. During use, we collect simulation attempt data (scenario ID, score, elapsed time, actions taken), ECG quiz results, XP and progress data, and streak/badge data.
We do not collect payment information, GPS or location data, contacts, SMS, photos, or any health data about real patients. This app is a simulation platform only.
Data is stored securely using Supabase (supabase.com), a cloud database platform. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Offline progress is stored locally on your device using browser localStorage until synced.
Your data is used solely to provide the app's features — saving your progress, displaying your scores, and maintaining your account. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required by the Supabase infrastructure provider.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@theshipdoctor.com with the subject line "Delete My Account." We will process all deletion requests within 30 days. All simulation data, progress, and account information will be permanently removed.
